Office Requirements and Signs

Every broker must maintain an office of at least one enclosed room in a building of stationary construction; a vehicle or houseboat does not qualify. A home office is allowed if zoning and any association rules permit it. A sign must be placed on or about the entrance of each office, easily seen by anyone entering. It must show the brokerage's registered name (trade name if any), the name of at least one broker, and the words Licensed Real Estate Broker or Lic. Real Estate Broker. A broker must notify DBPR within 10 days after moving the office.
