What Unlicensed Assistants CAN Do
An unlicensed assistant may: perform clerical tasks (typing, filing, data entry); answer phones and take messages (cannot quote prices or discuss property details); schedule appointments; prepare marketing materials (but not discuss terms); perform administrative assistance to the agent; enter data into MLS; arrange inspections or appraisals (logistics only); host open houses in a purely clerical capacity with no discussion of property.
