The NHD Statement
The Natural Hazard Disclosure (NHD) Statement is a mandatory form disclosing whether the property is located in any of six natural hazard zones. It is usually prepared by a third-party NHD company; the seller and agents are not liable for errors in information supplied by a public agency or qualified expert if they did not know of the error and used ordinary care.
