The Six Fiduciary Duties (OLD CAR)

An agent owes six fiduciary duties to the principal, remembered by the acronym OLD CAR: Obedience, Loyalty, Disclosure, Confidentiality, Accounting, and Reasonable Care. These are the highest duties in the law and distinguish the principal from all other parties to whom the agent owes only honesty and fair dealing.
