Code of Ethics

While the DRE enforces the Real Estate Law, many real estate professionals are also members of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) and must follow its Code of Ethics. The Code has 17 Articles covering duties to clients, the public, and other REALTORS. Key principles include honesty, fair dealing, truthful advertising, cooperation, and protecting client confidences.
