Purpose of Buyer Representation Agreements
A buyer broker agreement (buyer representation agreement or BRA) creates a contractual agency relationship between the buyer and the broker. Without one, a licensee helping a buyer may be representing the seller (as a sub-agent) or no one at all. The BRA clarifies that the licensee represents the buyer.
