Texas Homestead - Strongest in the Nation

Texas has the strongest homestead protections of any US state, rooted in the Texas Constitution (Article XVI Sections 50-51). The homestead is protected from forced sale by general creditors (with limited exceptions). Both spouses must sign for homestead conveyance.
