General Safety Concerns

Real estate work puts licensees alone with strangers in unfamiliar, often vacant, places. Basic precautions are to know your surroundings, know the office's points of entry and exit, use security cameras, alarms and good lighting, account for staff and visitors, and control office access by limiting keys and changing security codes when people leave. Never assume a prospect is who they say they are until identity has been verified.
