Termination by Acts of Parties

Agency can be terminated by the voluntary acts of the parties: (1) Mutual agreement - both parties agree to end it. (2) Performance - the agent accomplishes what they were hired to do. (3) Expiration - the term of the listing or agency agreement ends. (4) Revocation by principal - the principal terminates the agency (but may still owe damages if they do so without cause). (5) Renunciation by agent - the agent withdraws (but may still owe damages to the principal if they breach the agreement).
