By accessing or using Day One ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Day One is a supplemental study and exam preparation tool for the California real estate salesperson license exam. The Service includes study guides, AI-generated practice quizzes, full practice exams, text-to-speech audio, an AI tutor chat, and progress tracking.
Day One is NOT a state-approved real estate pre-license education course. The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) requires three approved pre-license courses (Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one elective) before you can sit for the salesperson exam. Day One is designed to be used alongside or after your required courses to help you prepare for and pass the state exam.
Day One is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the California Department of Real Estate or any state government agency.
You must sign in using a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Day One offers a one-time payment of $49 USD for lifetime access to the Service. "Lifetime access" means access for as long as the Service continues to operate. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds except under the Pass Guarantee described below.
If you complete the full study guide (all chapters marked as read) and score 80% or higher on at least 3 full practice exams, and you subsequently fail the California real estate salesperson license exam, you are eligible for a full refund. To claim the guarantee, you must:

Day One is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that you will pass the California real estate salesperson license exam. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service ($49 USD).
We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. In the event of permanent discontinuation, we will provide at least 90 days' notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of California.
